It's a loud ride, flew an engine from Okc to Detroit took 4 hrs to get there and 4 hrs 10 minutes to get back. I remember it was a great flight,clear ,and smooth but with the engines right outside the window it was loud . Even with headgear.

Ted Smith did a really good job, and then Aerostar Corp came along with their mods and they just got better. Is Aerostar, in Idaho, IIRC, still there doing mods on these things? I really wanted one of these when I was younger (not that I could have afforded it), but today, I'd rather have a DA-42. A lot slower, but 12 gph of Jet-A? Yeah. What kind of fuel burn is this getting at cruise at altitude?
