âJunk drawerâ Actually means these missiles are at or beyond manufactures end-of-life date and were going to be discarded, this actually means that sending them doesnât add additional costs when youâre replacing them. It actually might save some money because decommissioning them can be quite costly. So this is a win-win Ukraine gets great long-range missiles and the US gets rid of them at the lowest possible cost.
