I learned to swim in a similar way. I was 12 and all my friends can swim except me. We were at the pool they were playing tag in the deep end. It looked so fun I walked up to the deep end and said "I'm playing too!" They all said "but you can't swim!" I said in return "O don't care I want to play!" And I jumped in and started moving my arms and I was swimming
