Day One: We pulled into town around 4PM and went immediately to our cute little Airbnb. Dropped our stuff quickly and then on to our first stop, The Frog and Monkey for some really tasty burgers, lots of draft beer options and they had great live music too. The bar is downstairs in an older, historic building and totally reminded me of a little Irish pub. Great little neighborhood spot!
After filling up, we moved on down the street to the lake. We had the most perfect timing and enjoyed a very love lovely and romantic sunset! We saw lots of nature too. Nesting birds, a water snake and this cute little baby gator.
Once the sun had set, we moved back into downtown and walked around, taking in all the twinkly lights and cute shops. We stopped for ice cream and then headed back to our Airbnb for the night.
