Had a customer call to have an order delivered. I asked her to confirm the address. She told me use the one in the city. I asked for the street address and zip code. She repeated the city. She said why can't i just ship it. I explained to her that we needed the full address to be verified to make sure we're sending it to the right address. My issue is why go through the whole stupid menu that asks for everything only to have to repeat the information once you get someone online. Seriously, I don’t get it. Are the companies just trying to waste our time? I understand it’s not the customer rep fault, but can’t we question why it’s set up in such a way that it’s doing no one any good except creating resentment on both ends?
