The questing beast is a way to kill teferiās protection. Any effect that says ādamage canāt be preventedā means you can still deal commander damage to the player under TP, and they still lose at 21 commander damage.
Teferiās protection phases out all their permanents, meaning they canāt block or cast spells that require mana. Their life total canāt change but they still would get commander damage if not for protection from everything.
Protection from [thing] means it canāt be damaged, enchanted, blocked, or targeted by those things. But the way it does that is by preventing the damage that would be dealt. If damage canāt be prevented, they still take damage. Their life total canāt change though so the only way itāll impact is if itās commander damage which doesnāt care about their life total.

When you phase out until end of turn you should have to leave the table. Leave the room. Your permanents canāt be targeted and neither can your ears be targeted by words. You have to wait outside until your friends come and get you.
