So, both of the Green brothers are the author one, the science one, and the the TB one? How are we supposed to tell them apart now?

I’ve see so many of these videos, that I’m starting to legitimately cheer inside everytime something bad happens to TB.

Tuberculosis is so infectious that it's spread from John and Hank's shorts to the official SciShow channel.

You can't convince me that this isn't Hank's way to thank his brother for helping him through the past year. And now I'm crying.

The consumption was no joke. It’s wild how often people lived with it for years.

I had a stepsister who was a carrier of a benign strain of tuberculosis. Her mom was exposed during pregnancy, so when she was born, she was already infected with the virus. She has to go get blood work done every So often To make sure the virus doesn't start progressing

Last year my boyfriend's grandma died of tuberculosis, it was really heartbreaking and shocking to know this is a reality nowadays 😢

Its always fun to see how our siblings make us care about their particular little quirk. (My sister's description of rigor mortis solidified that I wanted to go into a healthcare profession. 🤷‍♀

Most people in the us who die of TB are the homeless, poor communities and native reservations. Today some people even call it a poor people disease. I don't know direct statistics for America but in Canada, Native people, Metis or Inuit are 30 times more likely to die of tuberculosis than white Canadians. These diseases are completely preventable too, so poor, racialized communities are more likely to die of this disease because of historic as well as current discrimination.
I like your guy's presentation of this disease, it really nails how deadly it was, having been called consumption or the white death
