I have the M48 Zombie Apocalypse model of this [came with a paracord bracelet]/ I used it as a thrower and snapped off a half inch of blade tip. I ground it into a kind of drop point Tanto, which I actually like better.

I actually love that brand, I got one of their knives as a free item with one of my purchases and it was quite nice. Super sharp and durable, nice and hefty.

I want the rope longer than 50% to wrap my own style. The rope can cut away if too long. Or can be removed and used to do something when camping.

My only suggestion would be to skeletonize the handle to reduce weight and maybe include longer cords. Other than that I'm all for the idea.
