I'd be interested if there are significant fluctuations in weight between spools from different runs, or between the regular and high-temp ones, but I don't have a whole lot to test. There's also a great printable tool for visually estimating remaining filament on Bambu spools which works decently well as long as rounding to the nearest 50g or so isn't going to make a difference!

Also if itβs really close, remember wet filament may not be as much filament as you might think.

FYI: your missing the weight of the cardboard roll with the RFID tag ;) Yeah I run my spools down to the last 10 grams or so. Sometimes it works and ..... sometimes it doesn't

I had this problem too, my problem was, I had no spool from the same brand. But you can weigh the spool beforehand, write the mass on the spool and therefore you don't need an empty spool
