Returning to a place you spent so much of your life, but no longer live in is a very strange and somewhat unsettling feeling. Like everything is familiar, but you know you don’t belong there anymore and it isn’t home anymore. That’s exactly how I felt returning to my hometown where I spent 17 years after moving away for 5 years. Very hard to explain or understand unless you’ve lived it.

If you want to come up to northern Virginia we have a guest room, as spare bedroom, and free parking! Not too far from DC if you wanted to spend some time there. You could use our house as a home base. Be well Jesse!

Yes!!
Explore Virginia!!
I worked there a couple times
Awesome people!!
So much history there
My grandparents came to the USA after the Civil War so it never meant much to me till I wandered around on my days off. The corduroy roads I learned about in second grade were a reality as we worked in the Virginia red clay.
Get a short time job working outside. Day Labor is pretty cool but don't get too friendly and get talked in to giving a lot of people rides. You don't have to travel far to have an adventure!!

Why don’t you drive up to New England for like a week before you have to go down to Florida?
