I'm in my dad's den with him when he gets a call. He puts it on speaker phone. It's a business associate of his, they start with the "how are you doing" like normal. Then this guy says "I got the forms you sent over, i really like the artwork, you have to much time on your hands" I look at him confused and he pushes over a paper. It's a contract that my daughter had drawn all over. It had a yellow sun, green grass, flowers and an apple tree. This is a multi million dollar business deal.
I later asked why he didn't print up a clean one to send, he told me that if the person receiving it was unhappy that he had his granddaughter around while he was working, then they weren't the kind of person he wanted to do business with.

Adorable. We had mountains of paper until I had my son switch to a tablet (that took some convincing). You can get a really cheap drawing tablet (it reminds me of those toddler drawing toys that have magnet shapes and a pen) you can get them for less than $5. They don’t draw in colour but it beats mountains of paper and to save an image just take a picture with your phone.

Love this idea! It will be a nice treat to get one of the drawings.....something to make a person smile. It will also recycle paper which is great. Your daughter can get a sense of pride knowing her drawings are being used in her daddy's business too, like she's helping with the business!!!
