What a man child. What did he think was going to happen? That she would swoon and say in a sweet girlish voice āoh baby I would never cheat on you and Iām so glad youāre home so I can cook, clean, and scrub your feet.ā All while batting her eyelashes. I would have laughed to. If he doesnāt understand that babies look different when they are born thatās on him for not nothing to learn what to expect. It is very common for babies to be born with hair and eye colors that will change over the coming months. Also genes are funny things.

I was born with platinum blonde hair and dark blue eyes. My mom has brown almost black hair and very pale blue eyes with green centers and my dad had dusty red hair and hazel green eyes. My dad didn't question for a moment that I was his. My hair started turning strawberry blonde around 3. My eyes got lighter and shifted to more green. I eventually ended up with auburn hair/copper highlights and green eyes with mom's center heterochromia but in dad's color. Not to be confused with hazel. There are 2 distinct colors that don't blend. It apparently ran in the family. I had a grandma a few generations back with blue gray outside and honey yellow centers. You never know how your babies might end up with traits skipping.

Honestly I thought that laughing was kind of you. You couldāve easily gotten mad at him and tried to make him feel bad, but you made light of the moment. Even if you got mad at him after laughing, I see it as a kindness that you didnāt immediately start screaming at him.

Excuse me but kicking him when heās down? What exactly did he do to his wife the minute she has a baby that didnāt look like his? He left her, for weeks. His default is to run to mommy every time things arenāt exactly the way he wants, and she backs him up every time even when heās wrong. You better decide if thatās something you can live with, because that is the behavior of a 5 year old. Itās going to happen a lot.

NTA. I was born with jet black hair and dark eyes. Both my parents are blond with blue eyes. My dad pulled the same thing except the running to his mommy part. All my hair fell out at 3 months old and came in blonde and my eye lightened to blue. My dad learned and didn't repeat the same mistake when my brother was born. He honestly shouldn't have questioned it in the first place since he's one of 14 brothers and sisters with varying skin tones, hair colors, and eye colors and my mom was one of 7 with the same assortment. When you're a Heinz 57 family (little bit of everything) you're going to get different combinations.

BRO DIVORCE him, If he accuses you over this, who knows what he's going to do later on your marriage. Also he's definitely a mother's boy for sureeee why is the MIL getting herself involved? Instead of apologizing of accusing you, they both got mad at you cause you where right? cut both of them out of your life and find someone who will treat you right cause just because your daughter had blond hair, he left u guys for WEEKS while you where still recovering. Thats an immediate divorce
