This shows how much Michelin has bended to marketing and the deals it receives for guides in places outside of Europe lately. We know a taco shop isn’t worthy of a star no matter how delicious it is, but we can also be pretty confident that Michelin’s Mexico deal required a certain number of starred restaurants to come with the new guide to boost the city’s image. However, it did get a mention in the Guide, so I believe the tacos are wonderful.
