Practicing your strokes on synthetic skin is different than working on real skin, especially if you are using a U Blade. A lot of newbies tell me how their blade will "stick" to the skin or how they have difficulty dragging the U blade on the synthetic skin. This is because no one showed them (or explained to them) the difference between real skin vs. synthetic skin and how the U blade has to be held at a certain angle in order to create a crisp, clean stroke. All of these tips can be applied to real skin.
