Tesla showrooms arenāt dealerships, as in theyāre not independently owned. Meaning just as you canāt haggle the prices at an apple store neither can you do so at tesla. There is no middleman commissions to cut through.

Same thing if you want to test drive. They donāt bother you or even come with you. You get to take the car out for a spin alone and they nonchalantly ask you to return it within 30-60 minutes.

I remember in the early 90's we were buying my wife a new Honda Civic. I can be prickly at car dealerships, they would not bargain at all, knowing that if we didn't buy it the next person would.
