A temple often feeds a monkey with a broken arm for more than a decade, probably due to the inspiration of the Buddha.
According to Chinese media reports, a one-armed monkey named "Xingxing" was raised at Yanghu Temple in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province 浙江寧波羊祜殿. The monkey is often seen around the temple, receiving food from the monks and local people, sitting and eating like a Buddha. The monkey was caught by hunters and sold to villagers down the mountain, but because it tasted fruit and peanuts, the villagers could not afford to keep it and released it. The monkey then came to the Yanghu Temple, where an 83-year-old nun used to feed it and named it "Xingxing". The monkey stayed at the temple for more than ten years.
