I had a friend getting catfished like that, he was getting nasty, when she couldn't send him money, he visited, she gave him money, ge was all lovey dovey, but kinda got snotty when he only stayed a few hrs, got an emergency phone call, needed money to go home, ASAP.he asked for money, she gave him some ..then she got wise..we told her lure him back down, since he said hes coming back and making promises, , send him some money without him asking before he ask, tell him you came into some money, ,.he got nasty when he came down, and she wouldent " help him out" immediately, she told him , calm down, i have to go to the bank, i dont know why the atm wont let me acess my money..he went to the bank with her..got arrested, lol he was wanted for scamming ALOT of women.

My mom fell for someone posing as a teacher from Spain. She sent personal photos. She sent thousands of dollars. Neglected the mortgage for 3 months in order to fuel this guy's con job. When she finally told me what was going on, I warned her she was being scammed. I also wondered why she was doing all this while still married and living with my dad. After she didn't reply to me for a few days, she finally admitted I was right. She had never even seen a picture of the guy or spoken to him other than text message. She tried to get police involved but, of course, they could do nothing. My folks are now divorced and she moved out of state and started a new life.
Be careful. Lives are ruined.

She drowned. Her body was found hundreds of miles away in the Mississippi river in Missouri. There was no note on the reason of her drowning.
I hope Kelly is able to find a little peace in the fact that she is helping so many people now to prevent more people from falling victim to these scammers.

Had a friend who married a man but she picked up signs that all was not right . He wanted her to sign over her house etc. .even though she had a daughter. He also tried to make her believe she was losing her memory.. Such as putting her keys in a pocket where she never put them . She called the police and had him physically removed. . We worked together as nurses. So much more to the story .

This is so sad why so many woman think they have to have a man to be happy. I have been single for 9 years. Been on a few dates but that’s it. When my mom last 2 years ago she left me a significant amount of money. I never let anyone I know about the money I have.

Don’t show the photo of the man he stole photos from - he was catfishing as that guy, that’s not his real photo. That man doesn’t deserve to be associated with this.
