This kills me as back in 2012 I sold so much parquet flooring on eBay for my parents which we took out of our family home, sold it for cheap as chips… literally sells for so much now and looks so good!

Your client needs the respect the floor by sorting the skirting and getting rid of those horrible wires. He needs to get a sparkie and do a few chases with PROTECTED FLOORING.

If a parquetry floor is done correctly in the first place and has no loose blocks it will always come up like new so long as it has never had chemical spill or cat piss on it 😉. Now if it gets a 3 to 5 year buff and coat so long as no impact or de lam there is no reason to re sand for hundreds of years
