Software development is about solving undiscovered problems, Ai can help you write code and can solve problems that have already solved, but it cannot solve undiscovered problems. So you can use Ai for programming basics while spending more time solving undiscovered problems. From my personal perspective I believe that the more technology advances the more problems will increase.

Well Mosh in years you've been an inspiration to a lot of people in the software engineering industry and will likely continue to be in the foreseeable future but the truth for me is that the industry is changing and not for the better. I learned how to code a couple of years ago and i can solve pretty complex problems with 3 programming languages as i believe in consistency but getting a job has proven very difficult. I've submitted no less 1500 application with most tailored to the job description but still no progress so in my opinion if anyone wants to learn programming they should absolutely do it but shouldn't hope for a job any time soon. I would like to hear other opinions on this matter if anyone has some.

in my opinion, AI is just a tool to help us solve problems much easier, help us not wasting time into correcting code, just like calculator, with AI we can solve more and more complicated problems.

Lol, it's funny how "certain folks" translates to TechLead. I call him "Messenger of doom", seems like he's on a mission to discourage people from learning to code but I never let him get to me, infact, I just unsubscribed from his channel because I don't like the vibes he gives off. Thanks Mosh.

If you have the guts for it, in short, yes, it's worthwhile just like anything that is valuable.

As of the current market given your age is 30 it's pretty risky to switch to a dev career now

Anyone who's used Co-pilot to actually code knows the answer is yes. AI is shit at coding.

Hey Mosh, I am interested in blockchain development. Can you please make a roadmap video on how to become a blockchain developer and which language and other essential skills I need to know and what is the future of this field?
