Emerging prospect Frank Martin secured a dominant victory over seasoned fighter Ryan Kielczweski in the headline bout of the Fox-televised preliminary matches on the Manny Pacquiao-Yordenis Ugas undercard at T-Mobile Arena this past Saturday afternoon.

In his first bout extending beyond the seventh round, Martin displayed his superior speed and technique, consistently landing punches on Kielczweski, who bore visible swelling over his right eye by the end of the opening round. Despite Kielczweski's resilience and spirited performance, Martin's relentless assault ensured a unanimous 100-90 victory on all three judges' scorecards.

While Martin relentlessly pursued a knockout, Kielczweski's renowned durability prevented him from being stopped, even as the bout progressed into the later rounds. CompuBox statistics revealed Martin's impressive accuracy, landing 198 of 519 punches (38%), whereas Kielczweski managed to connect with only 54 of 322 blows (17%), never landing more than seven shots in a single round.

Martin, a 26-year-old southpaw hailing from Fort Wayne, Indiana, boasts an impressive amateur background, clinching seven national championships, including the 2016 National Golden Gloves title. Trained by Derrick James, Martin was originally set to corner the main event until Errol Spence Jr.'s last-minute withdrawal due to a torn retina.

On the other hand, Kielczweski, 32, from Quincy, Massachusetts, suffered his second consecutive defeat following a previous loss to prospect Gabriel Flores Jr. in October 2020, bringing his record to 30 wins and 6 losses, with 11 knockouts.
