Nikon wins for me. The thing about Skin tones and canon colors is that, although on more fairer skins, the slightly more reddish/magenta tones looks pleasing, but on people with darker skins, that doesn't necessarily look good. In my honest experience, with older Canon and Nikon crop sensor cameras, the Nikon cameras just always looked alot more natural and pleasing, while Canon bought out the red and magenta a bit too much and also the contrast did hurt a bit. That said tho, i am a brown skinned dude, around brown skinned people.

I love the way canon captures warm and brown tones. I understand you can manipulate them in post processing when shooting in raw, but I feel if you’re shooting straight out of the camera, and you’re a person of color or shoot a lot of people of color, the canon can and will give you the most true to color results. Which is everything for me, who is a woman of color, who mainly just shoots her kids, who are darker in complexion.

From my experience with all of the cameras, Canon gives me consistently nice neutral skin tones leaning towards magentas, Nikon also gives very nice natural looking skin slightly leaning towards greens (The sooc is probably my favorite) The Fuji gives a nice soft quality to skin leaning towards pink/magenta. Sony definitely leans towards greens/yellow SOOC. Some tweaks to the profile settings and you can get a better look without any editing but this is what it is
