I got a couple of tattoos in my early 20's and I absolutely regret the decision to get them. My Dad, rest his soul, said I was a moron the insant he saw them. Wish I could tell him he was right!

I was wondering if it has something to do with our evolutionary past and rites of passage for men.
In most hunter gatherer societies men who passed certain rites of passage would have their skin scarred in some way as a symbol of that and then it would make seem more attractive to women.
Not sure though. Just putting it out there.

This is so funny because as a woman I HATE tattoos on men especially when they cover a large portion of their body (back, arms, chest, etc.); I think men are so much sexier without them ๐๐

As a male (faithfully married) I perceive tattooed women as more adventurous, more likely to have a higher "body count," and more fun. I don't perceive them as wife material. And since I'm married, without tattoos, I'm not all that interested in what women (other than my wife) think of me. Would be interesting to see how many painted people are faithful (if married) vs. those who are single.

It seems to me like everyone in the comments didn't actually listen to all of the words that this guy had to say. He's talking about some studies that were done and the results of the studies. And yet still ultimately the conclusion for most women was that those men wouldn't make good long-term partners or good dads. Which is also interesting to me. My initial thought with the correlation between being heavily tattooed and being healthy was just the ability to withstand pain and be calm and still while somebody is performing something on you that's painful. But, yeah, this video is not about your personal opinion about men with tattoos. It's about a study.

Its more to with the media and brainwashing, tattoos back in the day was to do with bad men in gangs and prisons and now its seen as a bad boy trait. Personaly i'm not one for tattoos it makes a person cry for attention as to say 'oh look at me i'm bad because i have tattoos' A secure person would not see the need to get tatoos. And this status will soon prove that with all the hate i will soon get
