Some of my favourite places to take in the views on Skye…

Sgùrr na Strì: a little mountain not for the faint hearted (or unprepared). Nestled right next to the Cuillin ridge, on a clear day it has the best view of the ridge and Blà Bheinn on the other side.

Ben Tianavaig: a relatively short hill walk with my personal favourite view on the whole island. From over to Raasay, along the Trotternish ridge, down over Portree and both the black and red Cuillin. If you only have a short amount of time on Skye, please visit here!

The Quiraing: this view is from the top of the Quiraing hike circuit and you get to look down over all the beautiful ridge and out to sea.

Bioda Buidhe: parking at the Quiraing car par, this walk takes you in the opposite direction to the previous viewpoint and is much quieter. You can see for miles along the glorious Trotternish ridge.

Rubha Hunish: the northernmost tip of Skye and an absolutely stunning little peninsula with dramatic cliffs and blue sea. Look out for sea birds and marine mammals and be sure to make a quick detour to the famous Lookout bothy that sits at the top of the cliffs.
