Start your day with a serene visit to Conjola Cemetery. Engage in mindful silence as you sketch, observe, and connect with the rich history beneath your feet. This exercise is designed to deepen your understanding of the life cycle and our place within it.
2. Shroud-Making Workshop:
Explore the tradition of shroud-making, an essential part of end-of-life care. Michele will guide you through the entire process—from planning and designing to sewing your personalized shroud using natural materials. This hands-on activity not only enhances your crafting skills but also provides insights into cultural practices surrounding death and celebration.
3. Meaningful Dialogue:
Engage in thoughtful discussions on grief, celebration, and the significance of shrouds. This workshop fosters a space for open, respectful conversations about death, integrating art with profound themes to offer a holistic understanding of end-of-life care.
