I think it's a mixture of things. People typically think the worst in people so when they think of motorocycle riders they think of the loud harley blasting music and reving their bikes at lights and gang members. You also have the otherside with crotch rockets where they are doing 120+ weaving in and out of traffic and doing wheelies, etc. I personally think they are misinformed and need to try it before they talk crap about it.
