Imagine the hero only found out because she caught the person the villain was in control of and caused the civilian to be where the damage and problems were.
But when the hero caught the civilian the villain let the civilain go and the hero found their sidekick's mark on the civilains wrist leading them to the actual villain.

YES I LOVE THIS AUDIO! I LOVE THIS TROPE! i love where the most anasumimg charecter is their greatest anamy... and they learn they have to fight the one they saw as family. And its only harder when the villain feels the same, but is to head strong to change, believing their way is the only way to fix whatever is going on

Other things that I really like is when the hero was already too like unconvinced that the sidekick could actually help them so the hero didn’t tell them much unless it was a lie or help the villain in any case so when the sidekick revealed themselves because the lies of the hero told they thought that that was all they needed And now their plan is screwed

I have a book I’m making where the hero is actually the villain and the villain was the heroes old sidekick. That was just trying to make everything right and then the hero sidekick joins the villain and they stop the hero.

I love your videos. Also I think I have an idea for one but idk. So, it starts a hero breaking into the villain’s lair. But the hero finds the villian either lying in the floor from a dr*g 0verd0se or with the villain crying, holding a knife and having tons of bl00dy c*ts on their arms. My favorite version of this is when the 'sidekick' is actually the valid character for becoming the villain because the hero is corrupt but the media still shows 'sidekick' off as pure evil
