That's not really true. There are a few key points you are missing. First, the game generates revenue from more than just the VIP pass; there are also other in-game purchases available, such as custom makeup, luxury dresses, and various accessories. Also roblox exchanges gives 70% to the developer after a purchase, not 30%. 30% is what is taken. Additionally, developers earn money through premium payouts, which they receive based on the time premium members spend in the game. In fact, a significant portion of the revenue likely comes from these premium payouts. I'd say the majority of their income is from that. I'm guessing you saw a reddit post saying that after all the cuts are made from the play stores and stuff like that roblox devs see ~40%. That's just raw USD revenue and doesnt apply to in-game transactions with robux.
Moreover, when calculating the actual earnings, it's important to remember that Robux earned by developers are converted at a rate of 0.0035 USD per Robux due to the Developer Exchange (DevEx) program, where 350 Robux equals 1 USD. This conversion rate means that the amount in Robux needs to be multiplied by 0.0035 to determine the actual revenue in USD. Meaning 7m Robux would be around 25k USD a month just for that ONE PASS.
I'm estimating DTI makes around 60m-100m a year. since data from last year assumes the top 10 earners on roblox make more than 30m a year. (this being the top game, it's safe to assume their developers are within that threshold)

They make much more than that (coming from someone who's brother is one of the devs)
