1. Pub crawling There are some pub crawling events in major cities in Japan. Japanese people tend to be shy but these events are specifically for mingling, so they are more open to talk and make friends with you! 2. Go to "yokocho" Japanese people who drink, love to go to yokocho (means drinking alleys). Bars in those alleys are smaller, which makes it easier for you to talk to the other customers 🍻 3. Music events When you talk to Japanese people, it's always best to have something in common to let their guard down. Music is one of the most universal hobbies and easier to talk over even when you have a language barrier 🎵 4. Food festivals You see many food festivals here and there in Japan. They are usually held in nice outside venues and have good vibes, so people there tend to become friendly 👍🏻 5. Sports bars If you are into sports, why don't you share the passion with locals in Japan?
