Brian, when you reference "inclusivity" and "tolerance" are you referring to the ideologies or the people who currently favor those ideologies? In spiritual terms, are you referring to the sin or the sinner. The Church has to accept sinners, yet, like any good parent, be clear where the line is drawn on one's behavior, and why. When Jesus walked on Earth did He discriminate against sinners or against sin? I'm thinking of the woman caught in adultery, "let the one without sin cast the first stone" -even the mad trads knew to drop their stones and walk away. And I'm thinking about the woman at the well...Jesus went to the well to meet her and befriend her with kindness and understanding, and the woman went with haste to her town and said, "Come and see Someone..."
Anytime we discriminate against sinners being in His Church we immediately vote ourselves off the island...
