I miss watching those early days of Dan Marino slinging the ball up and down the field .especially go routes to Clayton and Duper .was a thing of beauty .was a shame Miami's Ownership never built a complete team around Dan to compete for Superbowl Titles every year. had they there's a good chance Marino would have as many Lombardi Trophies as Montana .maybe even Brady .

After his first few seasons, and especially after his Achilles tear, he was done. Lots of numbers and lots of losses. I've been a Phins fan since 1982. The NFL defensive coaches quickly caught up. There was no running game, so focus on the pass. Then, there was no defense.

But they never have been able to go all in like Kraft did .I grew up in Orlando florida back in the 70s .I remember watching those 71 and 72 Dolphins on TV when I was 6 and 7 .I was a huge Bob Griese fan .he was such a great and underrated quarterback .people still forget he went to 3 Superbowls in a row winning 2 .and those days the nfl didn't have all these rules in place to protect the Quarterback .they were really under fire practically every single snap .
