India is a hindu majority country, pakistan is a muslim majority country. Although there will always be bad apples, the majority of the people will be kind and welcoming. There is low risk, she should definitely think about safety, that should be something you take everywhere. But it's wrong to assume that just because those people are brown and have different skin colour, different culture and it overall being a developing country - doesn't mean all the people are hostile and want to hurt her. Travelling as a solo woman in this day and age anywhere, even in the UK or US or Spain, a woman could get hurt. Educate yourself.
