In an interview, Woody Allen once said: "Someone once asked me if my dream was to live on in the hearts of people. And I said: I would prefer to live on in my apartment."

I can definitely relate to that. Who cares about legacy when you're gone? Being healthy and alive is much nicer.

We don't like to think about our death. We've got all these things we want to do and achieve. And life appears short because we're in a hurry to go do or get those things.

Contemplating death sounds pessimistic. It's not a fun thing to do.

But what I take away from it is that by understanding my time on Earth is a gift, with an expiry date that's unknown to me, I get clarity on how I want to spend that time.

How to live a fulfilling life.

Is life really a gift? I'm in my 20s and it doesn't feel like that at all. It's really rough and good times haven't come yet
