Final Edit- Sorry, folks, we've had some wicked flooding in our area, so that caused a delay in my expedition.
They are surprisingly editable, but not KFC Finger Licking Good. Tastes like garlic and butter, because that's what I cooked it in, with a gamey, earthy twang. It was crispy with a slightly slimy core, but not gooey. I'd give it a 5/10. Not worth the ticks, but if you find it in a market, try it out.

I'm Asian, yes people do eat bugs here but they are not treated as staples. More like seasonal delicacies when they swarm, usually to be eaten as snacks with booze. Except for the vegans, we do eat meat when we can afford it. Media makes it seem like we eat ze bugs all the time.
