My hair struggles with retaining moisture so I prioritize lightweight products that have lighter oils (almond, jojoba, avocado oil) as opposed to thicker oils ( castor oil, coconut oil, and olive oil) . I always prioritize steaming my locs 2-3x a week (depending how I feel after work) and moisturizing 3-4x a week since my hair gets dry super quickly.
