A.I., a smart driver, claimed that the semi-truck cut off the car. It's hard to make a case for that when the big truck signalled for more than 20 seconds before move over to the right side of the lane to get the car drivers attention. After moving over, the truck driver determined that in fact, s/he could move back into the lane. Was the little car being ignorant or arrogant?

I spent 35 years as a truck driver. This has happened to me more times than I can remember. You pass a car then when you look to make sure you have enough room to move back over , they are speeding up to block you or they just move up so you can't change lanes back. They match your speed and just stay there in your way.

best part, happens literally every single time. after fighting to get back over, they hit the left lane and pass you going 80 until they are 2 miles up the road from you.

1 of 2 things happened here. Either the truck moved over to let the car merge on the highway and then the car just drove the exact same speed as the truck directly beside it, blocking it.
Or the truck moved over to pass the car then the car speeds up then drives the exact same speed directly beside the truck, blocking it.

Every single frkn day that I’m out here ! Almost every single time I make the attempt to pass , either they speed up or pace with me ! Never fails ! It’s wrong its wrong it’s wrong ! When will people learn ?!!! What ever people are thinking when doing this , always know that you’re wrong ! When I get back behind them for the peace , they slow down again and again and I keep making the attempt to pass and there they are doing it again! I speed up and they’re right beside me doing 85 and I slow down again and doing 65 and they’re still beside be ! That’s needs to stop!

I've been driving truck for the last 3 years. I used to be super courteous and afraid to offend others. But I realized pretty quickly that won't get you anywhere on the highway. So when I've ran into similar situations of passing a slow car. As soon as I'm far enough ahead and hit my turn signal to come back over, I'll watch my mirror and see them hit the gas to try and block me. But they don't realize my turn signal isn't asking for your permission, it's a warning I'm coming over. And I'll slide right over and make them hit the brakes or swerve. Not my fault they want to play stupid games. I'm just rolling on 10-4.
