One round of jet wash and it’s all out in the air and on your face.

Yeah the point is you're meant to compact it to the joints. So go over each joint and compact it in. Then it'll stay and hold. By just watering it I don't think it compacts it enough.
I have this stuff and it's been down for about 5 years and everytime it rains we get grit everywhere and the grit gets trodden all indoors as well. So annoying.

If you wet sand it compacts, by washing it in the joints its being compacted, plus this chap is mustard cuz he pointed it a couple times along the way aswell, fair play he probably done 5tubs at 40 quid a tub , but he know Terry down the yard and he got a couple half price done a wicked job and that grouting ain't going nowhere,,

That stuff is a false economy. Nice n easy to put down but it washes out, discolours and you’ll be walking grit indoors for weeks if not longer. Give it a year or two and the customer will have to have it re-done. The idea seems good but the product is shite!

If it is done properly, like in this video i.e saturated surface and compact with a jointer i find it works really well and lasts. Everyone saying they are doing it wrong and that it wont last clearly didnt read the instructions. The smell it gives off is really odd though!

This stuff works great, had it down len years, no grit getting trampled in.

I wet surface brushed in and then packed it all down using a spacer matching the joints

Using a squeegee works better than a brush.

Used this a few year back on my patio and it’s shit! As it’s porous it soaks the water in and all the muck! So soon discolours.. flow point way forward although I haven’t done it as it can go tits up bye all accounts so just sand and cement for me for now…

I did this with the silka stuff and it came out within a year. I’d recommend doing it properly.
