I am absolutely white-hot furious that this poor creature has been tortured with those devices and forced to adopt that horribly artificial gait for SEVENTEEN YEARS. This sadistic abuse has GOT to end.
I hope that between the vets and the farrier, you can get this lovely boy out of those stacks and ease him into a normal, natural posture and gait without him getting sore. He so deserves a retirement where he can let his natural beauty shine.

As a long time lover of horses, I cannot understand why people still attend big lick shows. I had heard the stories and rumors of the stacks and chains on the feet but this video really hit home.
