I had the same problem last week. $100 order. Customer wanted a three pk Oral b electric toothbrush replacement heads. Thankfully they had the two pack so it didn't sting too bad.

With the cost of inflation. What happens if they have an alternative item and they cost $2.00 more? I notified the customer and they said they wanted a refund. The original price was $6.99 and now theyâre $8.99, afterwards I thought, I just shouldâve replaced it. What would you have done in a case like that? New to Instantcart.

I only do alternatives if it's the same different size or they have it as a pre approved backup. If not I will let them know there item is out and what options I think may be suitable. If they don't respond I refund not worth angering a customer with buying something they may not want. I have no order issues due to my technique
