2 seconds later her hand is sliced open. A drunk boyfriend threatens him. He runs away, fists a tire , snips off his clothes and commits ..I guess technically manslaughter?? Nice clip by way.

Spellbinding. This combination of sound and image and storytelling form a beauty so rare, it connects with one of those deeper parts of your soul that perhaps only ever get targeted by the most eccentric artists. The moment is so unexpectedly sublime, that once it’s over, you are almost left feeling depleted. Like that place inside u knows that it may never experience anything again that will capture this exact same sort of wonder. The end of this song is almost like the end of childhood itself.
Ha. Sorry. I know that’s a little crazy. But, I was a teenager when I first saw this. I’m in my late 40s now and there is still just something about this scene that feels like it was made for me. Like it knows all the weird little parts of me that get absolutely hypnotized by art like this. Ha. (Only, there really isn’t very much art like this. 😢
