As a person who’s been in that position before, it was indeed a mistake. Moving on first is NECESSARY! Bc you get stuck between what’s worth it and what’s not? Who is the right person for me? It’s a whole thing in your head and it’s mentally exhausting for everyone. Move on sis. There’s a reason it didn’t work out the first time.

That happened to me. I was with a man for 7 years. When we were together one on one he was wonderful, but when we’d be in a group or he went places solo he treated me like crap. He eventually cheated. I tried to throw myself at someone new and I fell for him. My ex did come back, which I really didn’t think was going to happen at the time. I left the new guy and went back. After a month of feeling disgusting I saw I made a mistake and dumped and blocked him on everything. I went to apologize to the other guy because I felt horrible. He chewed me out pretty hard, which I completely deserved, and we were friends for a couple of months. He asked me out again and I’ve been obsessed with him ever since. We’re both really happy and good to each other now. I know it’s hard, but this advice will save so much harder situations.
