👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 As parents, our job is to unconditionally love our athlete children and encourage them to give their very best in every game they play. Even if they miss a shot, lose the game, or face disappointment, they should feel no judgment from us, only love and pride.

🥇 I remember a scenario at the Junior Olympics last summer - a phenomenal athlete who rarely missed a shot, was blocked and we lost. We ended up playing for third place instead of the championship, which is an incredible feat in itself. However, the most valuable takeaway should be a parent's voice saying, "I love you. I'm so proud of you." 🤗
