Our day, in fact our lives, are completely what we make of them. Our perception of reality is based upon our past experiences, including those of past lives. Taking some well deserved "Me" time when you first wake up is in fact the most important thing a person can do for themselves.

Thank you for the reminder, I did this a lot over the summer until it got too smokey from forest fires. Now that the air is improving we finally got hit with fall, aka RAIN! Lol But I will make my days count by getting out into wooded areas between rain showers. 🌧

Just a late comment but try doing breathing exercises were you breath using the diaphragm to inhale (your belly should become exposed, when you exhale it becomes flat again your chest should be relatively still both during the inhales and exhales) and attempt to inhale for a second or two longer when your exhale
I'm not sure of the benefit for this but if you count while breathing to 6, for example, and count to 4 exhaling it really helps with the mind clarity aspect or just to start meditation. At your own pace try to get the inhales and exhales even again and maintain untill your time is up.
This is based on personal experience, as someone who has problems staying still without letting intrusive thoughts get in the way. Keeping the brain busy with something as simple as breathing and in your total control can be a nice break when feeling overwhelmed or just to start your day.

i discovered ur channel lately. good stuff. noticed ur doing breathing exercises. check out vipassana meditation for a new way to experience breath and awareness. im sure u will be able to handle this technique (very difficult, totally free)
