You are spot on about the grieving cycle Nebraska fans go through. What brings on this cycle though? Itās driven by expectations and hope built on hype for the season. But I think itās also driven by Nebraska fans desire to return to the 90s greatness. I donāt think fans can let it go that Nebraska may never return to a powerhouse and if they do make the playoff it will be the exception and not the standard. I wish it became the standard again but I think we need to be real about what we are and have been for more than 2 decades now. Itās a shame though cause I think Raiola is a really good QB and a great QB who would be the difference maker on the right team. Thatās just my opinion.

Coaching lost the Michigan game. Not the players. Nebraska has sucked in the Big Ten because they don't understand the Big Ten. Why does Iowa school us annually?... Because they understand how to win in the Big Ten. Which is, you take every point that's given to you. Kick the F'ing field goal to start the game. The moment we chose to run TE, inside shovel on 4th and 2 instead of taking the points... I knew we would lose by 3. Kick the field goal, give your young kicker some confidence to make the next field goal that he missed. That's 6 points left on the table and the game. Having a 3-0 lead is not nothing. It puts pressure on the opposing offense. The coaches lost us that game

We lost the trench line ball. Couldn't stop the run. Couldn't protect for the pass. Couldn't open up holes for the run. Dylan needs to make one more jump to get his passing a smidge quicker. We cannot miss a field goal. We need to be better upfront and then we can win elite games. Michigan was just more physical up front which hindered Nebraska 100%. Interestingly enough they didn't look like they were leagues better than us. But they did look better in the most important areas.

Why does Nebraska look so inept vs the better teams? They may hang around but they just donāt win em and they largely get blown away in the trenches. We havenāt beat a ranked team in god knows how long.

Ok the problem is the coaching both defense and offensive line I call it stagnant blocking because the QB lack of being able to escape from pressure in the pocket of course to sacks and if something change in assignments on the line DR could be sack all the time.
