Why not make a list of items you commonly need and buy that on a 2 week cycle? Or set up an online service to deliver these things to your house? Going to the grocery store every day is an astronomical waste of time and effort when a simple walk through your house with a list would let you cut that back to every 2 weeks. Or, get a membership at Costco or Sam's Club. Buy everything in bulk once or twice a month.

I grew up in a place with a large population of people from a mix of the Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, and Puerto Rico. My dad who worked at a grocery store noticed that a lot of people from outside the united states would be there daily. Sometimes it can be a cultural thing. They were also more likely to buy fresh produce as well, which sometimes can go bad quickly. It was better to just buy what they needed for the day so as not to waste food.
Edit: I’ll probably do that too if there’s a grocery store nearby
