That cam would have to be like a desmo cam. Otherwise the worm gear will just push itself away from the worm wheel

Chain drive with a one way bearing on the power side of sprocket and with a stop start switch on both ends of the stroke at play on the driven sprocket you can Mitch and match sprockets for speeds so you can use smaller motors aswell
