On this day, known as Halloween, many children will have their good microbiome destroyed by sugary processed foods…
Leading to unpleasant behavior and poor focus.
Something that I loved to do as a mom with a young daughter was allow her to engage in trick-or-treating.
The unique spin that we put on it was that in the evening she wrote a letter to the gingerbread house fairy, who would pick up her candy and return it at the time we planned to build Gingerbread houses.
This allowed me the opportunity to avoid having to buy candy for gingerbread houses because I’m not willing to send money in a direction that is contradictory to my message.
