I like Jim weighing up the cost of the ball as to whether it's worth popping it.

The "laugh" that we hear at the very end is because everyone was so shocked that the ball popped instead of slowly deflating so everyone looked at Dwight and couldn't believe what happened. The crew had like 25 balls and every each of them deflated as planned, just not this one, so they kept it, because it was too good to delete it 😅

John Kransinski explained this in a interview. They had done this scene so many times and each time the ball would just slowly deflate. This one take John hit it at just the right spot and no one was expecting it to just pop like that and that’s why they laughed. That’s why they didn’t redo the take 😭😭

Better one is Angela and Kevin breaking character in the healthcare plan episode when Dwight reads out the term "hotdog fingers."

I really appreciate Jim asking what the ball costs before destroying it.

I actually had a coworker who did this, dead serious. Took every fiber in my body not to Jim it

I actually think John is the one breathing out (trying to not laugh) and Jenna is the one who made the sound at the end since it sounds distant and she wouldn't have a mic in this scene (you can see her move her head)

Balls are great for posture too, keeps you awake and back straight. It's possible to sit on them without bouncing, the bouncing is what annoys people.

"I got 25 in my wallet" Jim thinks to himself as he picks up the scissors with malicious intent

This and the episode that Dwight's desk and chair were wrapped up like gifts and Dwight goes to sit down but there was no chair inside the paper and he hits the floor are two if my favorites.

There are a few bloopery takes that made it into the edit. The one that comes to mind straight away is the end of the episode when Gabe & Jim lead a heavily concussed Deangelo out of the office. Will Ferrell lets go a sneeze, and John Krasinski has to bow his head to obscure his laughter.

The short doesn’t show Krasinski’s laugh. I don’t know why the caption told us to wait for it.
