Bonjour! 🇫🇷 I had the absolute pleasure of attending my very first event as a member of the Harvard-Westlake French Club (HWFC), and it was très bon! Held outside in a gorgeous backyard on the Riviera, the weather couldn't have been more perfect.

It was the ideal setting as people from all kinds of backgrounds came together to celebrate our shared love for French culture.

Growing up in Hawaii, while most of my friends were busy learning Japanese and Mandarin, I decided to take a different path and study French. And that love? It stayed with me, all the way through college at NYU. So, being here with HWFC today felt like a beautiful full-circle moment. It reminded me how much I adore la langue française and everything it brings into our lives.

The French Club at Harvard-Westlake is all about creating opportunities to connect and celebrate French culture. They support faculty luncheons, bring délicieux French crêpes to homecoming, and help raise scholarship funds by selling beautifully designed sweatshirts!

And you don’t even need to speak French to join—though maybe just a little, un peu!
