All the guntubers are saying how the prices of ammo is coming down. But here in Michigan we're still paying 70 cents per round for 5.56 and 45acp. Some 9mm like blazer is regularly 15 dollars per box of 50 which is down by half from two years ago.

I’ve never seen higher prices for AR’s, so I’m not sure he’s right. In NC prices are very high and the AR’s are not plentiful.

I've got a 5.56 rifle, not an AR, not even a semi-automatic. And my shoulders are too worn out for a 30 cal. But if my town needs me in the militia it will be as a 70 year old cook, orderly or gofer. If I need to hunt with it; I will.

Or you bought the best back when they were all under 800 bucks. Mine were 450 to 650. Ruger, Sig , Colt.
