I think shadow of the erdtree deserves a nomination but not game of the year, it should gets its own category like "DLC of the year" or smthn, it def deserves an award but its unnecessary to take such a valuable slot in the awards

I agree that SOTE has more content in and is better than majority of full games released (SOTE is GOATED!!) however, there should defo be a separate category for DLCs.

Shadow of the Erdtree and FF7 Rebirth both shouldn't be on that list. One is a DLC and one is a remake. Give both of those their own categories.

A DLC can’t win game of the year. Especially if the game has ALREDY won game of the year. This is coming from a fan of From since the launch of demons souls. It’s not fair to game developers. Give it an award for DLC of the year no problem. Maybe club all remakes and DLC’s into one award. But don’t give the same game - game of the year, twice. It’s ridiculous. Even though BG3 and Elden ring are the best games on the market even today (my opinion)

Not sure, shadow of the erd tree is like a different game, yet you need elden ring. My greater concern is the possibility from this. Imagine a dlc of a game could win goty, what if the dlc isnt even have a story, its just armor and we praise it enough to get it nominated wtf

DLC should have their own category, but if any DLC had to be nominated Shadow of the Erd Tree deserves it.
I have yet to play Blackmith Wukong but based on gameplay I've seen, I really don't think it deserves a nomination.
